A former Air Hostess with the national carrier Air Malawi, she started acting when she was very young in nativity plays. She once played a Doctor in an award winning play titled A man from a far.

An admirer of Julia Roberts and Halle Berry, among others, her hobbies are watching movies, listening to music, and reading novels and magazines. She is currently running her own business as a Vet saleswoman.

In Seasons of a life, she plays the role of Tabitha Chiwona, a sharp-tongued lawyer who represents her friend Sungisa Malango in her child custody case.
